Idyllic French villages

Chalet Barthelemy is situated in Peisey village and Chalet Bouc Blanc is in Plan Peisey, both of which are part of the Les Arcs ski domain.

All of our other chalets are in Montchavin, La Plagne, a beautiful French farming village.

La Plagne and Les Arcs are joined by the Vanoise Express cable car that links both resorts which together form Paradiski.

By car

The quickest and easiest way to come by car is through the channel tunnel with LeShuttle, which takes 35 minutes from platform to platform.

The drive through France is beautiful and once you arrive in Calais, it takes about 9 hours to the resort with good traffic.

We frequently drive and would recommend an overnight stop off in Dijon, so you arrive at the chalet well rested and ready to ski, having missed all the traffic.

By plane

Our resorts are well placed and you can choose to fly from a range of UK airports, with all major airlines offering flights to:

  • Lyon 2h 30 – 3h
  • Grenoble 1h 45 – 2h
  • Geneva 2h 30 – 3h
  • Chambery (during the winter season) 1h 30 – 1h 45
The average flight time is 2h and Skyscanner is great place to search for the best deals.

Please note it takes significantly longer during school holidays.

By train

There is a good train service from St Pancras to Landry (change in Paris) with an average journey time of 8-10 hours. The service runs fast to Chambery and then works it way up the valley and terminates in Bourg Saint Maurice.

The latest times and prices are available on Trainline and if you do arrive into Landry, subject to availability we can pick you up and run you up the hill to your chalet. Please note this is a limited service, offered on a first come first served basis.

Private transfers

Is the common method and takes you directly from the airport to the chalet. We work with a range of operators including:
